Time: 8 hours (split in to 2x4 hours sessions)
Cost: £240.00
A non-refundable deposit payment of £30 is paid on booking. Please email us your design (reference design guide) and the size of the rug you would like to make, at sales@fluft.co.uk. Full payment is due on the day, minus your deposit payment. If you go over your allotted time it is £15 per half an hour studio fee. Please note: The size of your completed rug may vary slightly based on your chosen design.
Workshop Details
Workshop Details (up to 4 people per workshop)
• All workshops start at 10:00AM

• Introduction to rug tufting, including a demonstration with a cut-pile electric tufting gun
• Health and safety tips
• Tufting time
• Option to visit our local café, Brown & Forrest Smokery for lunch
• Gluing and securing your design
• Adding backing, rug binding, and the finishing touches
Before Your Workshop
• Rescheduling is allowed up to 7 days prior to your booking, this can only be rescheduled once. You will lose your deposit if you cancel within 7 days.
• Send us your design within 48 hours of booking. Check our design guide for details.
• Bring your creativity to the Tufting Studio!
Your design will be pre-drawn onto your canvas, so you can jump right into the tufting process. After a quick introduction, you’ll be ready to start! Choose your colours from our collection of 100% wool and experience the joy of rug tufting as your design comes to life. Once your masterpiece is complete, you’ll glue the yarn in place, add backing and binding, and trim the rug to perfection—a final step that really brings it all together!
You’re not on your own—Kat will guide you through each stage, keeping you on track, sharing helpful tips, and adding plenty of fun and laughter along the way. We aim to make this a relaxing, rewarding creative outlet, whether you’re taking a break from a busy life or just carving out some “me time.” You’ll leave with a sense of accomplishment and a beautiful rug to show for it.
